PRIVATE LESSONS
Private lessons, with one or more dance instructors, give you the specialized and personalized attention to look and feel confident on the dance floor, while developing the ability to lead or follow any partner. We move at your pace, perfecting and polishing your dancing all the while.

GROUP CLASSES
Group classes complement your private lessons, because this is where patterns, technique, and style are learned. Group classes also enable you to meet other students with similar dancing goals, develop balance, and learn the mechanics of dancing.

PRACTICE PARTIES
Regularly scheduled practice parties complete the information taught in your private lessons and group classes. At Fred Astaire Dance Studios’ practice parties, we turn down the lights, turn up the music, and enjoy time dancing with different people in a relaxed social setting. Practice parties help you “put it all together”, aid with music identification, and help you learn how not to run into other people on the dance floor. Practice parties are a great (& FUN!) way to apply what you’re learning.

Newcomer/Beginners Program
All beginner students start their lessons with the Social Foundation Program. A limited number of step patterns and techniques are introduced, in order to determine a student’s rate of learning and retention, interests and future potential.

Bronze
The Bronze Trophy Program is designed for the person who wishes to become a Good Social Dancer. It is the most popular standard of our students, and the first trophy program available to new students. A Bronze dancer is considered fun to dance with in all of the popular Social Dances and they have complete confidence in the figures taught. Bronze dancers have the necessary styling to create a pleasant appearance on the dance floor and can cope with almost any dance occasion.

Silver
This Silver Trophy Program is for the person who wishes to become an Advanced Social Dancer. Silver dancers are distinguished by versatility and style in all dancing for those who wish to be sought after on the dance floor.

Gold
The Gold Trophy Program is for the person who wishes to become an Excellent Ballroom Dancer. Gold dancers have the confidence which comes with a complete and thorough knowledge of all the major ballroom dances. Advanced style and poise in all of the ballroom dances sets the Gold dancer apart from all others.

Supreme
The Supreme Trophy Program is for the person who wishes to become an Outstanding Ballroom Dancer. As its name implies, the Supreme Gold standard is the ultimate in dance perfection. The Supreme Gold dancer aims high and makes dancing a hobby. Across the entire world, the Supreme Gold dancer is considered Tops in dance perfection.
